It turns out that one of four missiles failed to launch, and so they quickly resorted to photoshopping the image - abysmally.

If you look at the 2nd image (unphotoshopped), it looks fine, but I have noticed some shoddy work on the first image (photoshopped). For starters, it's same missile and flame as the 2nd missile, but what really struck me (as a perfectionist) is this: look at the smoke coming off the faked missile, and follow it down to a bit before the dust cloud. There's a thinned out bit of smoke - that just looks weird . None of the other missiles have that. It's just a blurred bit of smoke! And then there is the sky around the faked missile - this might be me just being picky, but I can clearly see a line between the real sky and the faked bit of sky surrounding the fake missile...

Clearly Iranian Government Photoshoppers aren't very good! If only the British Photoshoppers (myself included) could airbrush Gordon Brown... that'd be a job and a half!
