I've wanted to make a scene like this after watching the amazing film, 'I am Legend', but haven't been that successful in finding good stock. Surprisingly, this has turned out a bit movie-like, which I like.
Because of my picky-ness, quite a few hours went in to making this. Looking for stock must have taken at least an hour and a half alone. Then there was the problem of making the horizon work - the city was too bright and sharp etc. Then one big, and probably unnecessary obstacle came along: the scaffolding and crane to the right on the horizon. I tried many techniques to try and get bits cut out, and in the end resorted to lasso-ing and cutting each bit out, with plenty of patience of course. However, this has been fun to make, and has been a positive experience! Download for detail! A purpose of human life, no matter who is controlling it, is to love whoever is around to be loved.
